Pascal's Wager ( Pascal's Gambit 1654 A.D.) is a suggestion posed by the French philosopher Blaise Pascal that even though the existence of God cannot be determined through reason, a person should "wager" as though God exists, because so living has potentially everything to gain, and certainly nothing to lose. Hey teslasagan I invite you to give me your "evidence" against god. And you know how I'll reply?............... There is 99.9999999999999999% unknown knowledge in the universe. WOW your evidence sure is compelling huh? That means if you knew EVERYTHING that ever happened on earth you would know .0000000000000001% of all knowledge. But hey its good that you have a ton of evidence to back up your claims huh?

Man Shadurach, youre so foolish. here ill explain: If you said there is no gold in china you would have to search EVERYWHERE to prove that statement. If I said there is a God I'll I would have to do is find one ounce of gold. Lets say that we knew 1% of ALL universe knowledge. Isnt it reasonable to assume there MIGHT be ample proof in the 99% of unexplored, unknown universe? Think about that and when you give me an answer w/out faith I'll listen to your argument.

Give your head a shake, its time to wake up. Most of the evidence proves there is NO god. History and science have shown religion to be wrong. If u want to believe that the world is flat and at the centre of the solar system then time will show you to be the fool. Face it you your family everyone who ever had faith will be ridiculed by our decadence. Just as we mock the poor saps who burnt witches for their supposed crimes. You to shall also hold that place in history as the foolish minded.

God cannot be proved or disproved by science, they are two unrelated subjects...However I do have one question...if the Big Bang started the universe, then how did the matter get there in the first place? Newton established a law that states matter cannot be created or destroyed...so something had to have put the matter in to make the big bang...check out the Indescribable tour DVD by Louie Giglio and Case for Christ...it gives some physical and intellectual arguments for Christ...

"dude please don't make ignorant statements about my knowledge which i always seek in truth"this is fantastic!! you have knowledge, great. can you use it for things other than biblical quotes? i would love to see that.just because the bible uses some places and people who were real doesnt always mean the stories are real. see paul bunyon.if the places are not real does that make the biblical story fake too?
