You can also buy a solar battery charger for your vehicle, never having to actually connect it to the grid. With solar, your car basically runs for free.This would kill the fossil fuel industry.

In Australia I tried to start an electric car company, but the regualtions to build a car are so prescriptive, it looks like it would be easier for me to import a Chinese car. I know we have to have regulation but look at Henry Ford. We survived and had a revolution, now our industry is being suffocated. |
