Good observations. Bill was all that & did influence many in a postive way.Oscar with all his brillance and technique, and strong musical statements, was too busy for my taste. Point in fact is when he was on with Nat King Cole.But kudos to all who play good jazz/blues piano or any kind of good piano. LolIt's such a great instrument to adapt to so many styles of playing. Youtube is somewhat like an informal classroom with its vast choices of musicians and groups to search for and enjoy.
