well actually you are correct but mabey you should read all of romans because paul wile under the influence of the holy spirit says that homosexuality is a sin. and God lists that form of sexuality in hs list of perversions so sometimes we need to take the whoal council of God and not just quote the pretty parts of the bible that we like.

I agree with you 100%, sin is sin in the eyes of God. I may have over reacted in my response...but I feel this topic is just something that will never be resolved. It's trying to get two separate beliefs to see eye to eye about something they both feel just as passionately about, and that rarely works out. Point is, weather someone believes it or not, I feel saying a gay person and a murderer are on equal terms is disrespectful in todays society, and results in nothing but stirred up anger.

I'm not saying don't believe anything from the Bible, and I'm not saying none of it is true either. But I believe God gave us brains to try and think things through, and not to just follow whatever is fed to us blindly. To say the Bible is 100% THE word of God, is to ignore an awful lot of errors, contradictions, and mistranslations.

Yet once again, a "Christian" uses one part of Leviticus for their own convenient reasons. Funny how often that line is used, yet the rest of the Levitican laws are ignored by the same people. Besides the point, I asked for God's words, not those from Jewish priests. If it comes from man, it is falable and suspect to all the same bigotries and hatred as any other thought or idea.

Hmmm.. Someone needs to read their bible. Leviticus 18:22 says "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."

Why are you assuming that I or anyone else do not repent? Are you judging me? Funny...cause I know that Romans 14:13 says "let us not judge one another". So if you believe EVERYTHING in the Bible is THE word of God, then why are you disobeying Him? Never assume anything about someone when it comes to their personal relationship with Christ. Second, SHOW ME where in the Bible, God the Father or Jesus say homosexuality is a sin. It's NOT THERE. The word of man is NOT the word of God.
