player not only in blues but as a musician. Sometimes, changing your tools can take your inspiration to another world but for me it was the missing link. Now I share the same "knowledge" with my idols.JJ is so underrated it makes cry sometimes. @somebodyjones2 nice to hear you like it. The saying "if you can't play slide, you can't play blues" is not to be taken THAT literally it's just out there to stress the importance of slide playing I guess. I know there's some Sonny Landreth slide lessons on YouTube you need to check out. I didn't care about slide until I saw him play for the first time, that's when I understood the meaning of that saying about blues playing. Now I can hear the "slide" in every blues lick, and made me a better...
