My apologies.

@PurgePhantom I prefer the word, challenging than hard!

I am pretty smart for my age and very open minded or however you'd describe it. I could easily get the units in year 2, that's just simple and I do have a vague understanding of some of the equations he talks about just since I haven't learnt any of the basics of them in school it's complicated for me. But it should all be OK. =]
PurgePhantom (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You should not be able to understand this. I'm still in HS, but I'm taking AP Physics which is first year college Physics. IT IS HARD! At most, you should understand some of the things he says about units like seconds, meters, and meters per seconds. If you understand what acceleration is, you are light-years ahead of your colleagues. Acceration is the derivative of meters per second, but you'll learn that in Calc. You have nothing to worry about.

I am 14 and I find physics interesting and watching this video I do understand what he is saying at the start however once it gets into the complex equations I am pretty much lost.Will I be able to understand it all a lot better when I do do physics in college etc.?

It depends how bad you are at math, and if you are good at word problems.I found mechanics, and electromagnetism comparatively easy to optics.

Even if captioning is there, it is not useful as is they don't stay long enough as to be readable. I think this is a bug in automatic captioning of you tube. I've seen this bug in three of three videos coming from MIT.Good work nevertheless.

@tanjotdk If you're decent then that enough for the start :) I mean you will expand your knowledge in maths as you progress in your course. Good luck and have fun!
tanjotdk (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Really! Thank you so much lol iam decent in it so i was scared lol
1Mperios (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@tanjotdk Not at all.
