If you're having intermittent problems with you sensors, this would be very useful. Esp for those MAF sensor type problems where you don't want to drop $400 on a new part only to find that's not the problem. Diagnostics in general can lag real-time. The lag comes from getting the data off the bus from my experience. Unfortunately, On-Board-Diagnostics wasn't implemented for real time feedback :)

Thanks for showing me this, I'll make sure NOT to blow money on an OBD interface is the data rate is that poor. Useless.
