gives me a feeling of nostalgia for a time i never experienced. times were so much more simple back then

@ultradumbass Really? That makes a lot of sense! (sarcasm) I could count a good few moments where thse shows somewhat displayed animal cruelty. Hopely sometime in the future thse shorts will be rediscovered and played. You cant hid these things forever, epsically knowing what legacy they have in animamation.
ultradumbass (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@TheRegart the reason they allow family guy and stuff on is because generally family guy beats up humans. apparently the reason behind the sylvester one is part of this anti-animal cruelty thing. basically you can't show anything with an animal being hit. the only way it can be showed is if it is on a privatised channel that you must pay, or if it is being shown between 10 PM and 4 AM. and on weekends they can't show it at all except on private channels.

@ultradumbass and they yet the allow shows like Family Guy, American Dad, and South Park to air on local networks. By the way: This is was ingenoius of WB to take a classical piece and biuld a funny story around it.

Dirty Cartoonist !!!! Almost everyone's in drag...Except the smart pig who has a three on("queer as 3dollar bill?") is as close as I could get. The world has messed my head up enough since I was a child so now the little funny"we did it spin"from the one little pig,I used to think was sooo funny,I now call gay.Need more? How about.TALCUM powder & L"U"STERINE ? !! It's cool.most kids under 14 would'nt get it.
kaadauwgg (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@ookook It tickles me the sexual innuendos provide in these cartoons .For the grownups ,obviously...You know back then WB would've had to pay big to use Listerine.Today?more of a tradeout for promation. And out of any word they could've made up??STOP! You probably wanna know"Where is Kaadauwgg going w/ this?! Watch it again.. That's L"U"STERINE.
ultradumbass (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@pukingcatthemoive yes i remember most of those shows too. even the simpsons was good in the 90's, now the simpsons is just on now probably to set off some sort of world record or something. if shows run out of ideas, i'd rather they make fewer if necessary, than a 1000 crappy consecutive ideas.
kaadauwgg (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@101techkid And these used to be played on the big screen back then during the intermission of the main showing ,before color tv. I think
ultradumbass (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@RyuxChan the older cartoons will never be shown on tv now. the writers have very little choice. i know in canada there is stupid rules writers need to abide by. for example, did you know it is now illegal to show sylvester being spanked by granny on canadian television? because they think it is too violent. |
