"For man does not live on bread alone but on every word that proceedth out of the mouth of the Lord."Jesus never took away the Laws of the Old Testement just repeated them, but also gave us forgivness through Him dieing on the cross. As the prophets in OT say the true Messiah can't take away any word of the Lord or else he would be sinning and couldn't be the Messiah. Jesus didn't take away anything, He fulfilled not destroyed.

Doesn't mean HE was speaking to the translators, if it does... Luke 14:24-26 (New International Version)24I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.' "The Cost of Being a Disciple 25Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.

Abusing Leviticus and OT to oppress a minority denies the purpose of SalvationGalatians 2:21 Amplified BibleTherefore, I do not treat God's gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace unmerited favor) of God. For if justification righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. |
