Im thinking maybe the person who wrote without faith it is impossible please God did not write it for wealth fame and power because he gave his nice life as a roman citizen to be poor,despised and ultimately killed for Christ

No, faith is about fear. You have fear installed into yourself to believe in it. That is how Kings come into power. They told people (stupid people) that GOD told them they were to be kind and that they were to serve him, and they did. Just as all people who fallow any religion do.
