Not David Bowie...Davey von Bohlen, Promise Ring/Cap'n Jazz/Maritime wrote and recorded this. Promise Ring and Jimmy Eat World toured together for many years.

Easily the band's best song in my opinion. Such a rousing, anthemic little number. If this song doesn't get your heart beating a little bit faster I don't know what would. Nice references, too...Crimson and Clover, Bad Company, and of course Motley Crue. Oh yeah, the request to David..David who you may ask? I'm guessing Mr. Bowie would be proud of your effort here. Nicely done :-)

@SophieSoccer7 Me too. It's a song by Tommy James & The Shondells. Pretty good too. I read that Jimmy Eat World uses many references to famous rock songs in their lyrics. But I definitely love that part too "crimson and clover and over and over..." LOVE IT! =)
