This song says it all. I have a friend that is going through some tough times. It is to the point that I can't even reach her. There is nothing else I can do, but lift her up in prayer and let God handle it. Sometimes letting go of the situation and leaving it in Gods' hands is the hardest thing to do. The more we try to take control of the situation the worse it gets. The bible says not to kick against the pricks. Come back to God. It will hurt more if you fight against him.

Could the written lyric be "strings," instead of "strains?" Refers back to being a puppet of this world. My first time hearing this.

Who needs inconvenient science, logic and facts......all we need is FAITH.......why, through prayer and repentance-- amputees sprout new limbs, homosexuals are suddenly -sexually attracted to the opposite sex for the first time and unsaved Asian people become Republican Caucasians....shouting "Palin in 012"!!

@mtzsoccergirl12 as Jesus said "sell all you have, take up your cross, and follow me"....maby your cross is losing your friends, but if you listen to Christ he will give you new and better friends, you'll find that your old friends really were not that good of friends after all.
