Thank you - very helpful video. My teacher had to shape my nails for me until I understood what he was trying to explain to me. It's counter-intuitive as your fingers are curled under ; you're actually hitting on the opposite side of your nail from where you'd think you'd be hitting (left, not right). Your graphic would have really helped me to understand when I was just starting out.That said, I have (pro salon) nail tips placed on the P I M A fingers only - I then shape them myself.
