I kinda Like Herman a little more (no offense, Sam) because Herman looks very calm and not really stiff when he's playing. Before I started playing Guitar, I played piano (and still am) and it helped me a lot with chords and stuff.

@Xealswe - Marty hasn't impressed me with skill, (i mean Chris Broderick is technicly far better), but rather with his talent to write extremely melodic and awesome music, therefore i consider Marty Friedman a better guitarist and musician than Chris Broderick anyways

@Jonsk12394 Well PG and Marty never really impressed me. Yngwie, Vai and Satriani does. Just having this discussion is a living proof that choice of the best guitarists is subjective. PG and Marty never really wrote songs or music or invented techniques that they got really famous for
