Hello,Not really another version of Li Man Huang Tai Zi. It's more like similar to "Vo Tac Thien" series. At 0:29sec the second right that Carman Lee play the queen role wife of the Emperor. In the movie she got jealous the girl that the King loved and she try to have her died. The queen is thrust for power. In the end she have power but it's unhappy. Carman Lee's queen role is somewhat a villian character. Hope that's help.
